SG *M Newland Randy's Aowen

Aowen is a six year old fourth freshener.  She is a small doe who is all about making milk but lacks the pizzaz to show real well.  I am VERY pleased with her production. She won a SG designation for her 2006 lactation and also her *M designation. In 2007 she was freshened then milked through for over 1000 days. In 2010 she was appraised at the age of six and scored a final score of EEEV - 90.   She also has proven her ability to throw nice daughters.  She has two milking daughters working hard in other herds. I think she has proven herself handily and this year I am keeping a buck kid out of her to breed back to a few does in the future. Aowen kidded March 2010, one solid black wether available for sale, $50.

Newland Ears's Flossie

Flossie is a three year old second freshener.  She was freshened as a yearling and milked through.  She was finally dried of in September of 2009 after a nice long lactation.  She has always appraised well and is a consistent, trouble free milker. I'm looking forward to watching her mature into a beautiful doe. Flossie kidded 1/2010 with twin bucks - both sold.

Newland Austin's Snitch

Snitch started off to a good start as a kid. She won RESERVE CHAMPION JUNIOR DOE at the spring show in Harrisonburg, VA and GRAND CHAMPION JUNIOR DOE at the 2007 West Virginia State Fair.  She was freshened as a yearling with an appropriately sized, moderately productive udder. She was milked through in 2009. nbsp; Despite being appraised as a stale doe, she still scored FS 86.  Snitch didn't appraise well this year, she isn't milking up to par at this time. I believe it might be because she had a little bitty single doe kid in early February - regardless she's a very, VERY easy keeper who is a consistent milker even if she doesn't milk much at this time. She also is blessed with excellent temperament. I am planning on freshening her again next year to see if she improves in production. Snitch kidded 2/2010 with a single doe kid who will be retained in the herd for now.
