Kids & Dry Yearlings

Walking hooves

Newland Austin's Octagoat

Octagoat is awesome. She appraises well having really nice conformation. She shows well too. She has a lovely udder, great body capacity and strength, she's hardy, excellent temperament, what else could I ask for? Two doe kids which she gave me this past spring (-: They'll be retained for now.

Newland Austin's Wild Woman

I was not planning on keeping this doe but I am glad I did.  She is elegant and lovely in form, being long bodied with a neck like a swan.  She has a to die for Nubian nose and is quiet and easygoing.  Like her sister Octagoat, she is hardy with great body capacity and strength. She milks well despite having had mastitis when she freshened. She'll be dry treated and next year she should be a force to reckon with. Unfortunately I lost her kids in a very extreme cold snap in January when they were born so there are no kids out of Wild Woman this year.
